Don't mix it up
- How to tell a transfer valve from the mixing valve: the transfer valve usually sits above, with a smaller trim plate, and switches between showering devices; the mixing valve below, with the larger plate, turns the water on and off.
Good to know
On 3320/3330 valves it sits behind the upper handle. Before 2007 those valves used the 1200; before 2010 three-handle diverters used 94543.
Before you buy: pull the old part and compare it side by side. Similar-looking parts often don't swap.
