About Identify My Part

Something breaks, the label is long gone, and the store shelf has five parts that look almost the same. Identify My Part exists to get you to the exact replacement, without guessing and without a second trip to the store.

We started with shower and faucet cartridges from Moen and Delta, the parts people most often buy wrong, and we're adding more brands and kinds of parts over time.

How we put the information together

• Every part page is built from the manufacturer's own published information (product pages, spec sheets, installation guides and support answers), and the sources are linked on the page.
• Where parts look alike but don't swap, we say so, and we show the quick test that tells them apart.
• When manufacturers don't publish something, we say that too, instead of guessing.

How the site is paid for

The site is free. Some store links are affiliate links, which may pay us a small commission at no cost to you. Commissions never decide which part we point you to. Details are in our affiliate disclosure.
